10 Months of Henry

  Time keeps marching on and our baby boy is somehow ten months old! 

About 50 times a day Michael and I say to each other

"We have the best kid in the world!" or "We have the cutest baby ever!"

I guess you could say we are pretty in love with our little buddy. 

A Little Trim

This kid's hair grows like crazy! Maybe it's all of the biotin 

pills I've been taking to try to get my hair to grow back?

He's already had a second haircut. It was just a little trim because 

I'm just not ready to give up the baby look yet! Michael says the 

next one has to be a real cut; we'll see about that...

9 Months of Henry

He's been out as long as he was in!

It feel like Henry has been in our life forever, but also like he was just born yesterday. 

He is curious and into everything, loves making messes, and is constantly jabbering and cheerful. 

This kid brings us so much happiness while keeping us busy and on our toes. 

At his doctor appointment this month we learned that he has slowed down on the 

growth curve. This wasn't a surprise to me at all - I could tell he was thinning out which 

makes sense since there is not a moment of the day that he's not moving! 

height -  28.74 inches (68%)

weight - 20 pounds 14 ounces (72%) 

Our Fancy Family Date

We have a made a weekend tradition going to Costco, grabbing some food,
walking the isles, and picking up our list of items.

bath time = happy time

Can't you just see the happiness in his face? I think tubby time is often 

the best part of his entire day. Hank can be a tired mess, but then 

he hears the bath filling up and he's happy has a clam fighting to dive in. 

                   

8 Months of Henry

7 Months of Henry

If I had to use three words to describe Henry at 7 months they would have to be
happy, determined, and busy. 

 This boy is as smiley and friendly as they come! He is rarely mad, and if he is 
we know there is a good reason why. While he is so social, one of his favorite places 
is still his bed. At the end of the day he parties a bit by himself before falling asleep. 
I guess he values alone time! I love to watch him on the monitor as he crawls and 
rolls all over his crib and listen while he squeals, jabbers, and sings to himself.

  

If he wants something there is nothing stopping him. He crawls over whatever is
in his path to get what he has his eye on and will keep trying and trying or reaching and
reaching until he gets the results he wants. I'm hoping this determination will be a
quality he holds onto and puts to good use. 

His body is constantly moving - I can't keep up with him! I'm not only talking
about his crawling everywhere, but he rarely stops moving even when he isn't
getting from A to B. He is a wiggle worm and constantly looking for his next item to
grab. Somehow he manages to find every cord in the house and get into things he's
not supposed to. I love his curiosity even if it is exhausting! He still refuses to
snuggle, probably because he would have to hold a little bit still for that! 

I can't believe this sweet baby has already brought us 7 whole months of JOY!
We still just can't get enough of him!
