Christmas 2012

We traveled to Tennessee for Christmas this year! It was fun to be with the
Lamberts and to have so much time to spend with them.
We were able to go for 12 whole days - one of the perks of being an accountant
is lots of vacation time :)

While we were visiting we mostly just spent time with family and relaxed. It was wonderful!!

of course, Michael has to do cookies for his teams

Missionary Mitch

Mitch is officially a missionary! The cutest and happiest missionary ever.

He nailed his farewell talk and impressed everyone in attendance.
Marie flew out for the weekend and it was such a blast to have her and Nora here with us. We did lots of cooking and just hanging around the house.

Kurt, Jack, and Sam have the same ones too!

the last game of ping-pong

Dropping Mitch off at the MTC was hard for everyone except for him. He was just so ready to go!
We all got teary except for Mitch and Michael - they are basically robots.

brotherly love
it's crazy to think that in two years these two will be speaking Russian to each other!

Elder Woodhead fist pumped as he walked away.
It was so perfectly him!
We miss him tons already, but we could not be more proud of him
and all the amazing things he is doing!
Russia is one lucky country to get him for two whole years!

Happy Halloween!

Marlies and Dillon came over to carve pumpkins with us this year - it was such a fun night!
Carving pumpkins isn't really my thing, so I roasted the seeds and made candy corn cookies instead.

After Michael started carving he wished he had chosen a more simple design.
I think it turned out really cool!

Go Jazz, Go!

Ernst & Young had a recruiting event at the last preseason Jazz game, just one of the perks of the job that Michael definitely loves!
Our good friends Jace and Jenna were there as recruits so it was so fun to hang with them and their adorable little Amelia.

The mini Jazz bear even made an appearance in our suite, so naturally Skye and I took advantage of the photo op!
