Happy birthday to Michael! 

I sure am glad this boy was born 24 years ago!!

Go Jazz, Go!

Ernst & Young had a recruiting event at the last preseason Jazz game, just one of the perks of the job that Michael definitely loves! 

Our good friends Jace and Jenna were there as recruits so it was so fun to hang with them and their adorable little Amelia.

The mini Jazz bear even made an appearance in our suite, so naturally Skye and I took advantage of the photo op! 

Las Vegas Weekend

While in the middle of the chaos of the fall tax deadlines we decided it was a good idea to get a little trip on the calendar to look forward to. We found a great deal for a weekend in Vegas and booked it without thinking twice. 

It was a short trip, but was just the thing we needed to reconnect and relax before getting back to normal life. Most of our time was spend lying in the sun by this pool  - the perfect thing before the winter weather hits us in Utah! 

Dinner Date

After many long nights during tax busy season and seeing very little of each other, 

it was so refreshing to go on a date with my man and actually spend a little time together! 

I forgot how much this guy makes me laugh, and thank heavens that he does!!

Mona Rope Swing

The Mona Rope Swings are a Provo ledgend and we finally ventured south to see it all for ourselves! 

I was terrified and really terrible at the whole thing, but it was still fun and we had a great time spending the Saturday together! Since Mitch separated his shoulder last week, he just came along for the ride and was the designated photographer. We'll have to go back when he's all put back together! 

Summer Night in Park City

I have been a full-time employee of Ernst & Young since July 9th - more than a month! It is still so crazy to me that I am not going back to school in the fall, but I just go to work everyday instead. I guess I am closer to being a real adult. 

The most recent perk from the job was the Salt Lake office family day at the Park City Mountain Resort. Since it is the middle of our tax fall busy season and I have been working crazy hours, we weren't able to go for the entire day, but I snuck away from the office for a few hours so we could grab some dinner and catch a few rides. We tried out the zip line, Alpine slide, and Alpine coaster. 

Such a fun night and such to treat to get to spend some time together on a weekday evening!!

The Bradburns Came to Visit!

The Bradburns came to visit for Marie's graduation from BYU and we are SO happy that they did! We miss them all so much; things just have not been the same since they moved away!! 

Their visit meant that we got to meet baby Nora for the first time - we fell in love! She is so little and such a chill baby. Of course we were so excited to play with Jack and Sam, too. Those boys are hilarious!! It was so great to spend so much time with Kurt and Marie - we just miss having them around and they always make things more fun! 

We miss the Bradburns already and hope they can make a trip back soon!! 

This just melts my heart!!
